I hate that movie yet it's the most highest grossing film by almost a billion dollars which really pisses me off. Why would anyone want to watch a movie about blue people? I want to see something I can relate to.
it was a very nice movie and it wasnt only about two blue ppl.it was the graphics the action and the emotional characters[which is the least i care lol]but the graphics and the characters of humans were badass go humans ftw destroy everything lol!
Wow, you people are daft. Avatar made an amazing amount of money and broke new grounds for future films as well. people hate Avatar just for being ground breaking and popular. People who say they hate Avatar are only saying that to be different and they are just annoyed by the fact that it's so damn good. It's people like you that hate good movies and love the shit ones. Enjoy the Twilight saga.
I love that we are capable of so much imagination. This movie is just one of a million zillion examples. It was a beautiful idea to me. I think that makes me anything but a sheep.
avatar was good. ask why people think gay ass movies like Twilight and Transformers are so good.

My dad watched it like 10 times in a row so i hate now.. and how can you ask if it's normal to hate a movie or not? just because a lot of people like it doesn't mean you have to like it ... everyone has their own opinion that's what makes them unique
It was a boring 3 hour movie with a predictable plot that has been done a million times. Plus it was only the highest grossing film due to the cost of 3d tickets. If you count inflation the gone with the wind is the highest grossing movie ever. They should count how many people buy tickets instead of how much money it makes
Amen. I HATED Avatar. Yes, the technology was cool, but after about 5 minutes you forget about It and are left with a boring left wing fantasy. Totally lame.
Yeah, I agree: Avatar is a stupid waste of one's time and money. Personally, I consider the whole lot of fantasy-genre to be ridiculous. It reminds me of adults watching cartoons...
