Is it normal to hate almost everyone i meet (please read)

I used to do IT support and you wouldn't believe some of the things people did. I asked someone to send me a copy of a CD-ROM. They photocopied it and sent me that.

I went to see someone who said his mouse pointer went the opposite way to the way he moved his mouse. Well, yeah, seeing as how he had his mouse with the tail pointing towards him. I told him it was upside down and then he turned the mouse on its back and tried moving the ball about with his finger.

Some guy said that whenever he typed "i", he'd also get a space. Yeah, Courier isn't a proportional font.

The best was a woman who wanted to be talked through a software installation over the phone. I was talking to her for fifteen minutes when I asked her what she could then see on the screen. "Oh, I don't have a screen. Do I need one?" she says. Two minutes after that, it transpires she didn't even have the computer turned on.

I think the title of your post is wrong - I thought you were a 'Hate the World' but it's just your daft customers. I think people just expect to get whatever they want and paying for it doesn't occur to them! Plastic cards aren't real money to most people either.

Dappled. I worked in IBM and when someone bought a new PC and turned it on, it said, "Say hello to your new IBM PC." A lady rang up to complain that nothing was happening no matter how often she said, "Hello! Hello! Hello!" to it :o)

People nowadays are like that. They're so financially dumb it makes me want to slap them all. If you're struggling, then why the hell are you renting nice cars? If you have time to do that, then go get a freaking job or another one coz ones clearly not enough. Or go to school or something. I swear this credit thing is just making idiots more acceptable. Shun these bastards or they'll never learn.

^ I agree with naga above. I was just going to say that this same mindset is what caused the housing market to collapse. It makes no sense. And yet I have friends (smart ones, I'd say) who bought way more house than they can actually afford and are struggling to keep it. And the bank let them do it.

Perhaps car salesmen should take over for real estate agents since they understand the concept of credit history, eh?

This isn't even a question. It's completely normal, you work in retail so it's no wonder you're becoming more hateful. I've never worked a real job in my life and I still would be swearing at that couple.

I hate almost everyone I meet. I think it's TOTALLY normal. Is it acceptable, or ok? Probably not. Just remember; not everyone can be as smart as you. Perhaps you could try a little sympathy. I always told my kids to feel sorry for people less fortunate in the intellect department.

I didn't even pass math at college (I'm still excellent with it, but didn't find it needed) and I know what good and bad credit means.
A couple of idiots I know, have went onto the 'littlewoods' craze, now one of them is £6000 in dept, and I sit back and giggle with a huge 'I told you so' grin on my face.
But do they listen? No because they are idiots!

I hate people who can't spell..

Remember what your job is. I'm sure all car salesmen have to deal with nonsense everyday. You're either gonna have to learn to deal with it, or just find a new profession. But honestly, there's really annoying people everywhere you go, and at almost any job you're gonna have to deal with it.

Sometimes you have to bow to them in order to keep them coming. Its unfortunate, but a lot of these people that you might not like are the ones who keep the business going.

Well I can imagine how frustrating that must be! I don't work at a car dealership, but my sister used to, and I worked there for about a week covering for her. I also couldn't believe how dumb some people were. And not just there, whenever I'm trying to have a conversation with someone they never know what I'm talking about. And when I try explaining things, or just saying things to try to get them to be a little smarter, they always give me this weird look like "Freaky genius, get away from me". I'm not a genius, they are all just stupid. However, you shouldn't hate the whole human race for that. Luckily, not all people are stupid.

There was this one girl who got a job at my parents old shop and she was this girl who thought she could get anything if she pushed her tits up and poked her ass out and flicked her hair, it maid me happy to no she was a dumb bitch couldn't even give people the right change out of the till, when it tells u how much change on the screen! Silly twit!

Just wanted to state, anyone with negative comments on this subject are probably as stupid or related to the stupid idiots I'm writing about. I think that you shouldnt get so upset about it and tell them up-front that they need to have a certain amount of credit in order to have the car. Now, some people really don't know about that kind of stuff, Like I didn't have any credit when I bought my car and I wanted a brand new car, I ended buying a used car and The guy at the lot with the new cars was the used cars guys brother-in-law and I bought and payed off my car, so just cause I didn't know doesnt make me stupid, I know I can afford my crap. I was just young and didn't know the importance of credit yet. You should try to help people understand more about credit, ya know, it might really help them, and you wouldn't hate them so much, I mean just cause you don't know something, like thinking nice things about people, doesn't mean you cant learn, make sense? it is normal to get frustrated but in the end you are just going to make yourself miserable and angry when it really doesnt have to be like that.
