Is it normal to hate a song if it has an unecessarily long intro

Even if I like the song i end up hating it if it has an unecessary intro. I dont wanna hear a friggin 5 minute monologue at the beginning just sing!It pisses me off when they do that

    yeah it is annoying and I'm a bit like that with sex too - I don't need a lot of foreplay, just get on with it already lol!

    I write songs, and the ones with intros usually have 1-2 minute intros.

    I hate the ones about war with the siren and gunshot intros.

    That recoding has been used over 9000 times. FIND SOMETHING ELSE.

    Totally normal. I hate it when I hear the intro to a song I really like while in the car, but end up not hearing a single lyric by the time the car parks because the intro is too long.

            I am pretty sure I didn't make a typo when I wrote "Sony Vegas 10."

            I use Sony Vegas 10 and NOT Windows Movie Maker, deal with it :P
