Is it normal to hate 99.999% of your colleagues at work?

I've been working at this major grocery store company for about two or three months but throughout this very short period of time I've realised that nearly everyone in fact all of them assholes. some are 'good' and i say it loosely as they are blatantly cruel to newcomers and people w are not as competent as them but there are also people, the ACTORS, who treat you nicely when they see you but when you're not around, the subject of you will be treated like every Seth Macfarlane show = a joke. They piss me off and i just can't help but dislike their mockery and arrogance. it feels as if I'm still in school, but the people here drop dead ugly with saggy tits which hang to their knees.

Fuck yes! Try working in a hospital in a very rural community where everybody seems to be related to each other or next door neighbors. Gossip is their best friend. I can't take it anymore, its driving me crazy! People can be cruel. To me, its like I went back to elementary school. And I say elementary school, because for me, high school was no where near as bad as this. High school was great! I just hate two faced people! If people have a problem with me, I like when they're upfront about it. I don't like having to hear it through the grapevine about what they were saying about me in the cafeteria. :p

I say bide your time until you find a new job. But also keep in mind that wherever your job may be, there will always be people you might not get along with. There will always be those types that just want to bring you down. Good luck!

It sounds awful. There seem to be a lot more people who are unhappy with their co-workers than ever before. Maybe I've been lucky. I work with about twelve thousand people and the odd few I had strong negative feelings about have left. In my last job, though, there were some real sharks. I think it's the sector I now work in that has made the most different. The public sector is definitely easier going than the private sector. I dread ever having to work in the private sector again.

That sounds awful. With those things in mind, it's perfectly understandable for you to despise them.

I think that in some months they'll get bored and will stop. Give it some more times.

I can totally relate, although for me it's all the greedy, arrogant upper management. They gave themselves raises and bonuses while we haven't gotten either in 6 years. They make me sick to see or even hear them.

I'm willing to bet that those idiots you work with are just miserable. I'm willing to bet that the only thing those women did in their lives that could be considered even remotely commendable was have kids. I'm going to sound like a huge asshole here, but some people just never do shit right in their lives and they end up being fucking miserable, working in a grocery store still shit talking about the people they went to high school with that did something with their lives and they take out their misery on any decent human being that will let them.

I'm also willing to bet that you're not the only kid they've pushed around, just the only one still working there. Either you can quit, or take this as a learning experience regarding what kind of people some folks become when they realize that they suck. Period. Some people just suck. And they want to suck everyone else in to it too.

Must have a lot of coworkers. I mean even if you only like 1 then you must work with a ton of people.
