You sound lucky too have an understanding parent, it doesn't sound like she would mind. However, I would stick with men with shirts off, I wouldn't put up super risqué posters or pics of completely naked men. This is not because you are gay, lots of people get uncomfortable around nudity and since you are living in her house you should try to be sensitive to her feelings. Let me know if this helps.

Its your room and thats your space to be yourself. If she does find it kind of ackward in the begining im sure she will get used to it after a while if she's a supportive as you say. Good luck!

Trust me, her "freaking out" isn't based on you being gay. She'd have the exact same reaction if they were pictures of naked chicks. She doesn't want to imagine you having a sex life any more than you want to imagine her having a sex life.

When all is said and done, it's her house, and if she doesn't want pictures of Stonecock McSixpack all over the walls, you're just going to have to deal with it.

My mom and I had the same to do over pictures of eighties hair bands all over my room. It wasn't about the pictures. It was about me growing up.

Some people are jerks on this site.. I say if you have a closet maybe hang them In there so your mom doesn't see them but you can... Compormise

I would not put them up, your mom is supportive yes but you should not do that out of respect. You should be grateful that she is supportive not many parents are.

Allot of my straight guy friends put posters of half naked or naked womans in their rooms so why the hell should you pt posters of guys since you like them.

I'm straight, but dude if you're gay then put up the posters. Your sexuality is none of her damn business, honestly. The fact that she's supportive is just an added bonus. Just tell her it's what you want, and if she doesn't like it she can stay out of your room.

If your mum us supportive like u say then talk to her and ask if u can put posters up on your wall, she's your mum and she knows your gay so it should be ok

In my opinion it's your room and you could do what you like with it, but keep her in consideration.. maybe just hang up one or two.

I'm a girl and I dont feel like putting half-naked or naked guys on my wall. But if you do, then do it, it's your room and it is supposed to be like what you want it to be. ;)
