Basically, I have two girl friends who insist on talking crap on one another to me but they both treat me so badly that I don't like either of them anymore. At one time I befriended them because they were nice to me and had no one else. I've been there for them so many times it makes me sick and they've been there for me a time or two, as well. However, I find that I just can't get rid of them! They call and want to hang out whenever I'm in town. It sucks because no one else likes them but I just can't seem to leave them behind...

    It is normal (it's what your friends are doing too, hanging out with people they can't stand). I used to be like that, and it took me a LONG time to realize that sometimes no company is better than bad company. You have to look at the big picture and realize that there are good, caring, mature people out there and you can meet them once you stop wasting time on immature people.

    Gossiping is juvenile and annoying and I cannot stand people that talk badly about others, or even people that involve themselves in other people's business when it's not called for. This is the reason that I don't relate to a lot of people, and especially to a lot of girls. Women (mostly, although I know some male gossipers) seem fascinated with the drama in other peoples' lives and can't help but discuss it. I, on the other hand, do not give a shit about other peoples' lives and it makes me very uncomfortable to talk about other peoples' business. Maybe that's why I come to this website....it's acceptable to discuss peoples' business here!

    Anyways, ditch these two chicks. They aren't going to change and if they are talking about other people behind their backs, they also talk about you behind yours. Not worth your time! Tell them to grow up and move on.
