Is it normal to grow your toenails this long?

I am growing my toenails long enough to tap on my wooden floor like dogs claws. It's taking ages but one or two are long enough to rat a tat when I walk around my house. Gee it's a fun new idea I have come up with, has anyone else done this? I am female btw and a bit bored.

    My father used to grow his toenails until they curled under his toes. I'm completely certain that it wasn't that he could knock out a few rhythms on the kitchen floor. It was just that he was a lazy bastard. The give away was the black gunge between his toes, oh yes and the smell.
