Is it normal to grow hairs and not to shave them cuz of your mom

My mom doesn't let me to shave my legs, my ears and my eyebrows? How everyone thinks about me? I don't feel comfortable with it. She will only let me to shave when I marry. What should I do? Is it normal?

your ears? sorry i'm not even sure how that's possible... and you shouldn't shave ur eyebrows, instead wax or thread or pluck. then u can tell her you're not actually shaving

Your ears? And who shaves their eyebrows, wax or pluck them.

I think your mother has a weird way of trying to keep you from the dangers of vanity. But are you sure your not homeschooled? This behavior sounds like strict religious upbringing that isn't likely to let you attend public school.

Why do you want to shave your legs, I think it is a bit overrated myself. But this can be awkward in high school because kids are cruel.

is this a religous thing? i knew a girl at school who wasnt allowed to shave anything. she even had long dark hair growing down her nose. i am guessing that because everyone kept teasing her, that she was allowed to have the hair on her nose removed but nothing else. its a bit sad that religions like hers are so strict that women are not allowed to do what should come naturally. some relgions dont allow women to use any pads or tampons so they just bleed freely. makes me feel so lucky to live in australia and be able to have free will.

Does your mother still give you baths and change you too? Personal hygiene is a PERSONAL thing. Why would your mom have anything to do with it?

If you want to shave then thats what you should do, its your life or are you going to let her make all your decisions for you, i know why don't you let her pick your husband as well for you.
