Is it normal to google where a person you're selling to on ebay lives?

Last week, I sold a few things on eBay.

I'd never give away specific addresses (And have never written them down), but I always get an urge to look up where they live on Google Maps just to see what the area looks like. Don't worry, I'd never visit unless asked to!!

I've recently had winners from Sweden and Canada as well as my native UK.

Just curious as to whether anyone does this or considers it common/socially acceptable to do, really.

    It's normal to be curious, but it starts to evolve from this, than no it's not normal.

      Thank you. I am glad someone knows what privacy is on here. I don't think its acceptable to know where someone lives for the fun of it.

    I don't see anything wrong with this. You don't do any stalking or anything, you're just curious to see what the area they live in looks like.
