Is it normal to google people once you know their name and surname?
I often feel the need to search people I meet on google. I google myself too. Is this normal behaviour?

Of course, how else do you find out their Facebook, Twitter, Phone Number, Social Security Number, and Email? If you ask me, if google had a feature to look up someone's GPS location, the CIA would have found Osama a long time ago.
I imagine people must think I live under a rock or something. When ever I Google myself... absolutely nothing comes up. No FB, no Twitter, no MySpace, no Tumblr, no work info, no educational info, no criminal record, no voting history, no address, no pictures, no age, nada damn thing. But I do work and go to college.
I like to be incognito.
As far as Googling others... I have done it in the past - to like three people. I was feeling nosy those days.
Me and my friends had a conversation about this. They think I'm really weird because I never, ever do this. For my part, I was stunned that they all do. I know I'm in the minority but it just seems odd to me and kind of intrusive.
It's also why I'm a bit sparse with my personal details here. I don't even like my first name being too well-known.
i do this too. i love googling user names and finding people on other websites and social networking sites. isn't it wonderful how the Internet makes stalking so easy nowadays?!
