Is it normal to go to the same college as your boyfriend?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 5 1/2 years and I currently live with him and his mom. We're only 20. We've both been going to a community college and are looking to transfer. He went with me to see this college I had already applied for and I loved it! But so did he so he applied. I have some insecurities and am a bit attached to him. I hate when he's around girls and get very angry and stressed about it. I'm afraid that us going to the same school will not allow me to enjoy the college life since I might be too worried about what he's doing. I applied to another school and got accepted. Should I go there instead? I'd love to have him around but i'm afraid of how I'll be.

The honest truth is that you need to put your education first and your relationship worries second.

I didn't vote. It's normal to go to the same school as your boyfriend. It's not normal the way you acted about it.

The best solution would be for you to learn to deal with your insecurities.

Go have fun, don't worry about serious relationships until you are like 28+.

I'd say the abnormal part is living with your 20-yo boyfriend's mother.

My aunt and uncle were high school sweethearts and they've been together 20 years, went to the same schools. One the other hand, if you have some oats to sew, do it while you're in college, or you will regret it and resent him.
