Is it normal to go to the doctor when feeling ill?
Is it normal for a person who is in good general health to go to the doctor when feeling slightly ill?
I'm only addressing people who are in decent health otherwise and aren't feeling ill because of another issue such as medication/treatment side effects or some chronic condition. Small children, pregnant women, elderly and anyone with a compromised immune system are obviously excluded.
How normal is it to go to the doctor if you're feeling sick, have a cold or anything relatively minor along these lines?
