Is it normal to go to sleep at 2 or 3 am and wake up at 8 or 9am?

I do this every night no matter what. I can't sleep if I'm not watching a DVD of some show or movie. 90% of the time I watch it's Always Sunny or old Simpsons, then anything else. I don't feel sick or tired during the day. Does anyone else get five or six hours and feel fine?

I believe so. I do it now too. I think it's because your body is on a set schedule.

One of the comments reminded me of my sophomore and junior year in high school.I would go to sleep at three or four and be back up at 6 to go to school and be fine. But by the time my senior year hit i always felt like shit with anything less than 8 or 9 hours. The switch was crazy!

        it depends on the person.

as you age you need less so i tend to average 5-6 hours unless i'm feeling very lazy or extremely tired.
