Is it normal to go to another floor to take a dump at work?

I ususally find a single occupancy bathroom to take a dump in because I like to get relaxed without any interruptions when and if I have to do it at work. In office buildings I have gone to other floors to do it so I don't have awkward moments with a co-worker in the bathroom. Is It Normal?

    This is so annoying. People always come down to my floor to take a shit. We're not dumb, we know who's doing it.

    Normal. I use to only take a dump in the nurse's office bathroom during my school years.

    When the elevators are out of action, any disabled bathroom not on the ground floor is fair game. Beyond that, I keep detailed analysis of usage patterns for each of the three thousand, nine hundred and something bathrooms at work. And don't think I'm kidding.

    Yes I hate it when I've had to sit there listening to a co-worker in the adjoining stall, belt out the biggest guttural farts and depth charges, let alone have to smell their farts and poop.

    It just doesn't seem right, especially when you awkwardly come out of the stall at the same time. I mean, what do you say to them, "Hey did you have a good shit? Sounds like you were laying under sea cables."
