Is it normal to go from hating myself to a complete narcissist?

My depression makes me pick out every flaw or mistake I've made and hate myself for it. Drowning in all of my regrets and wanting to end it all. But then my narcissism has me loving myself inside and out like hell, almost God like. I go back and fourth with these extremes throughout all of my days.

It sounds like you have either bipolar personality disorder or borderline personality disorder.

Narcissists don't actually love themselves. Most hatred directed at yourself stems from a lack of fulfilment--you hate yourself because you don't create anything, you just consume videogames and netflix all day, for example.

If you have intruding thoughts and a habit of remembering painfully embarrassing situations from the past, the best thing you can do is write about the memory. This will reorganize where the memory is stored in the brain, moving it outside of the stress response.

A true godlike god would be able to spell 'back and forth'.
