Is it normal to go for one hair colour than others, for no reason?

I realised that I only seem to go for brown haired guys and brown haired guys only seem to go for me. I have only gotten with one blonde guy in my life I think. My blonde girl friend seems to always go out with blonde guys - I have several blonde guy friends who all, coincidentally, seem to end up with blonde girls. Plus I babysit for several families and the parents all have the same hair colour. Blonde families, brown families, black families. Its not like they are from the same country, South Africans and Kiwis and well theyre the only non british families. But other than that are we all mad? Or weirdly narcissistic and want someone like ourselves?

    I'm far more convinced it's a subconscious way of driving to preserve similar genes.

    My preference is for blue eyes regardless of hair color.
