Is it normal to go against what a job aptitude test says?

I took a career aptitude test to find some direction for my life, I have been feeling a bit lost since I got rejected from my dream school.

My results were a bit troubling. I was given 2 choices: shoe salesman and bathroom attendant. Now, I've seen enough of Al Bundy to know I definitely don't want to be a shoe salesman! Bathroom attendant would be fine except for one thing....I giggle uncontrollably at farts! I would probably get fired immediately so what's the point?

I tried to desensitize myself by watching fart videos on youtube for 4 days straight and it didn't work. I hung out in the restroom of a local sports bar and still, every fart made me laugh like a schoolgirl!

I don't know what to do at this point. I need a job and I'm tired of feeling like a waste of space!

Be a shoe salesman. 5

    What kind of aptitude test would tell you to be a shoes sales men or a bathroom atendent? This sounds like a bull shit test. I had a test and it said if you were a creative color you should be either a list of managers or a clown. Which was absolutly useless! I would not listen to that either as a dream job. Though a janitor auctully does pay very well considering the job you are doing. Which I found suprising.

    I took one of those in middle school and the results came up as either Model or Butcher. I became neither. Too ugly to be a model and nobody will trust me with a cleaver.
