Is it normal to giggle everytime i hear the word fanny?

If you're from the UK, you'll know that "fanny" means vagina. Trouble is, with all the American TV on the goggle-box, we heard the word "fanny" a lot in what becomes the weirdest situations, such as:-

* A mother giving her kid a swipe on the fanny - ooer missus!
* Or a guy telling his wife that her fanny's getting fat lolololol!

Is it normal to giggle every time I hear that word in what seems to me to be the wrong context? I can't seem to get over it!
