Is it normal to get zits after shaving my pubic hair?!

Lately ive started shaving my pubic hair, but when i do it it gets really itchy and i just thought it was because the hair was growing back n was a little irritated. But i noticed that the red spots turned into zits and it only happenes when i shave against the hair but not when i shave with it. I know its not that std or sti because im a virgin and it only happens when i shave against my pubic hair. So is it normal to get zits in the pubic area after shaving?

Yeah, shaving irritates the skin. Hairs get sliced and leave a sharp edge. Trimming close to the skin with scissors is one solution. Waxing is another (painful) one. If you do want to stick with shaving, though, aussiewolf's advice is good.

That would be razor burn. Definitely use shaving gel if you don't!!! It makes it so much better.

After you shave you should wash and/or put alcohol over the shaven area. This happens to me of I don't.

Its annoying as fuck is that, first time i went baldylocks i thought id somehow caught an STD or something. Electric shaver does the trick plus is easier.

i it would be ingrown hairs. shave with the grain and use soap or shaving gel. dont ever shave dry and against the grain.
