Is it normal to get very irritated by a word

I get really annoyed whenever I hear someone talk about how much "swagger" they have, as if being arrogant for no real reason is the most desirable human quality to these people. Whenever I see the words "swag" or "swagger" in someone's user name when I play Call of Duty (a ridiculous amount of people have this in their name) I want to kill them over and over again. Normal?

    Sometimes I get irritated at the new "trending" words too, I used to get pissed off whenever some people in my class used those words, but now I'm used to it

    It's normal...Well i think.. I have the same issue with the words P*** and F*** . ( if you can take a guess) . Makes me uncomfortable even saying the words lol even spelling them out. They are gross words to me ... I'd rather people said they need to take a shit or say they need to rip ass. Anything other than that should be illegal.

    The words swagger or swag have no meaning to me. So far as I'm concerned, if its not in a 70+ year old dictionary, it's not a word. I dont even know the meaning to swagger, if it even has one.

    I have said this a few times but I did jokingly. I was not like in your face about it. Anyone who believes in swagger is a moron anyways. So I would just ignore them.

    you shouldn't let one stupid word effect you like that. if other people like the word then that's them. if you don't like the word, then don't say it yourself.

    how about when people say yolo all the time. fuck all the douche bags at school who yell out SWAG, or YOLO all the time. that shit gets annoying.

    I didn't vote because I'm sort of split. The hate of 'swagger'? Normal, I guess. Wanting to 'kill them over and over again'...? Maybe you should pretend it's another word or means something different.
