Is it normal to get upset about video game performance?

I plat lot's of cod. I'm not the best at mw3 but i class myself as a very high standard black ops player, my score per minute is over 450 and my k.d is 4.2 :)

If i do badly on black ops the anger/frustration and even sadness to some extent is frequent.

Tonight for example i suddenly couldnt play, i just went 4-15 and im genuinely upset about my performance. My accuracy just went to shit and i suddenly turned into a noob! Is it normal to be really frustrated about this? I play in a party with my mates and because im a good player i HATE doing badly infront of them.

Sometimes you can have a bad game day. I've been through this myself. I can be really good at a game then another day i suddenly play like a noob. Happens sometimes but don't anger so much about it, relax. Another day you will play with a great performance again:)

I feel this way when playing strategy games or games that require a lot of puzzle solving. I see it as a reflection of my intelligence so performing poorly leaves me feeling like a dumbass.lol

Normal. I get frustrated and embarrassed when I perform poorly playing a video game.
