Is it normal to get turned on when an attractive character is in pain?

Not to worry, as this is entirely for fictional characters. Gosh, I would not want anyone to be in pain in real life. But my issue is, it seems when a fictional character (mostly movie/anime character) is in pain or killed in some fashion, I seem to enjoy it. Not in a psychopathic way, I mean it's hard to explain. For example, in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, when Katniss gets burnt by the poisoned fog and falls in pain, I find it kind of attractive. Also, when Whitney gets tortured in Hostel: Part II, I also get quite turned on, or when [possible spoilers] Junko gets impaled by spikes during the Danganronpa 3 anime. So I guess this may not be ordinary. But is it that bad?
