So usually when I'm texting my boyfriend I'll say something to try to turn him on, and he usually says something like "Haha wow, ok", and I would usually drop it after that and continue to text him sweet things.
Well, the other day I did just that, except he wouldn't stop saying dirty things, and it completely turned me off. It kind of sucked because that's how I'v always wanted him to talk to me.

Is this normal?!

    You say that it is how you wanted him to talk to you but than you didn't like it. It is normal, women never know what they want. They say or think one thing, but really want something else. Example: They say they want a nice and gentle man, but they go out with jerks that treat them like shit.

    I love sending my boyfriend dirty, but kinda sweet txts. It turns me on when he plays a long a little bit, but it's a major turn off when he gets wayy to carried away with it.

    my girlfriend has the same problem, me and her were making out on her couch. we were groping eachother i was at second i got a boner and she was just like omg really... i mean i talked to her about it and she says boners are degrading to women and i was like no they are not its telling you you did a really good job.

    I had a guy like that once, I tried to be flirty and slightly sexy with my texts, he'd be like "thanks, I'd love that" and that would be it. Sometimes he responded but then just as it was getting fun, he'd change the subject which was pretty damn annoying.

    And then after we'd dated a while, he seemed to become all weirdo, like asking me if I watched porn and telling me he liked lesbians doing each other. He even hinted he wanted a threesome.

    I'm surprised I didn't punch a hole through my head with facepalming.

      I had an ex who'd change the topic every time something sex was brought up. A change of topic and a look cast my way of, "You're, like.. fucking sick!" or something. As though it wasn't sex I was making a comment about, but necrophilia or something. heh

        Trust me, you weren't dating him, some of the things he said were plain strange. Plus, you never say to your girlfriend about wanting a threesome or telling her you like lesbian porn, not unless you want to piss her off. And if that is what most males think is normal, I hope they think twice.

    I wouldn't say it is. But then again it depends on the boyfriend. I had an Asian bf who was quite gross and snored loudly and had a big head so no I was not turned on by him. But I had a cute white boy who turned me on all the time.

    Same story with girls although I have only had 2 girlfriends in my life...
