Is it normal to get tired of people making fun of my height?

I'm a 22 year old female college student and I'm like 5'. I got it from my mom, who's also short. Since middle school, I've had friends and class mates who just love to acknowledge how short I am. Sometimes I'll see a friend and they'll suddenly mention how tall they feel compared to me, and I've even been used as an armrest. Which is both funny and annoying... Lol. I'm just like, okay enough. I know I'm short, dammit. You don't have to tell me. "You're so short!!!" I feel like it's always acknowledged to the point where I pretty much expect it. At some point I even got self conscious about it. And since I'm short, people think I'm younger than I really am. Luckily my boyfriend really likes my height and thinks it's cute. :D

    i'm only 5'3 (5'4 on a good day) and it doesn't bother me, but i know what you mean with it getting irritating when it comes to people's comments. some days i can laugh and joke along, other days it just annoys me when it's peoples only conversation starter.
    and i never let people use me as an armrest, i'm not a piece of furniture and it's not even remotely funny if you don't know me and just rest your arm on my shoulder.

    Aww, I'm 5 feet too! I'll be 20 this year. Accompanied by my baby face, I often get mistaken for a 12 year old. It's even worse because I have a baby, I had my son kind of young but not as young as people may think.

    I don't understand why everyone needs to point it out. That's like us walking up to someone wearing a blue shirt going, "HEY!!!! Your shirt's blue!", umm okay? Tell me something I don't know.....

      Seriously! Haha, yeah I have a baby face too. At my old job, everybody always said that the company I was working for was breaking child labor laws because I was 12 years old. It got so old. Gah, I could never imagine what kind of responses I'd have if I had a child like you. Must be rough. :/

        Haha, child labor laws? Wow -_-. Yeah, it's not so bad. Most of the time they don't even ask how old I am because they're too busy talking about how cute my son is :}. But when they do ask and I tell them how old I am, they seem relieved.
        I personally don't think I look that young :/

    Embrace it! I'm 20 and 5'1 :) my bf loves it too! He's 6'4 and he loves how he can pick me up and hold me:)) I love my height, you should love it too :)

    Well, I've been in your shoes. My best friends are all taller than me. I'm a 17 yr old guy and I'm 5'7. People have always made fun of me for my height but eventually you stop caring about people. I'm short and there's nothing I can do to change that.

    Hes an 18 yr old, 4'2 black midget bitch.

    Lol jk hes 5'4 and im 5'10. He makes up for his height problem by being a 170 lb boxer lol hes fucking strong. Kinda why i dont make fun of him anymore :(
