Is it normal to get tingly ears?

It's a fairly normal occurrence for me that when I'm listening particularly hard during lectures, and sometimes just thinking in general my ears get tingly. It's not at all the same feeling you get when your leg "falls asleep", but they do get more sensitive to touch. I've never heard of psychosomatic responses to concentrating, and ironically it's kinda distracting. Does anyone else get this?
