Is it normal to get these sensations inside my head

hie

i'm 20 and about a year ago what started out as as bad headache turned into a nightmare. after that headache it felt as if there was heat inside my head it would feel really hot inside and i went to my doctor who gave me zolpidem coz he thought it was stress, lack of sleep etc.

i took the meds and they'd leave me feeling like a zombie they're sleeping tablets. it would be like this on and off the the feeling of heat disappeared and it now felt like there was fluid moving inside my head like i was bleeding inside i have no headaches, dizziness or anything just these sensations

i then went back to the doctor demanding a CT scan and he refused to give me one and gave me the same pills again and it kept going on and off. my life has been like this for a year and i have no idea what it is, i had anorexia and bulimia for 7 years don't know if that's related to these head sensations. i've googled the symptoms and nothing came up. i had tests for anaemia and it was negative because the sensations would get worse after i had had my period.

if there's anyone that can enlighten me as to what this is please help me. i'm just a college student and i want to move on with my life.

I've had the heat in my head before, along with plenty of other brain sensations. I'm not bulimic or anything (that I know of... i think I'd know, haha). Though I've never eaten too well, just started in the last two years, mostly this year.

THe first time I got the heat was while I was at work, nothing in particular, i was mopping and my head filled with heat! It got really hot and died down a little and stayed that way for the rest of the night. It happened quite a bit, around the same time I decided a lot of my problems thinking and problems with headaches and such stemmed from lack of hydration. Well I was right about that, I drink water all day and cut everything else out. I think great, I feel better. And I haven't felt the heat like that in a long time. Drink WATER!

Sweetheart, I don't think it's normal at all but I have been having the exact same sensations for a whole now too and have gotten NO answers. It started with the hot burning sensation.

I too am bulimic. I have struggled with bulimia for 10 years now. I'm 21. I'm wondering if it is related.

you say you're bulimic also, i think it must be related maybe you commenting & saying you've had the symptoms have made me feel a bit better knowing they're other people means i'm not alone... i think we should not stop until we get some sort of cause for it & rid of it, if can be get rid of. goodluck with bulimia & the sensations. x

Are you sure it's not tinnitus which is strange sounds inside your head?

It can range from the sound of the wind to whistling to white noise to gurgling... it's a nightmare.
