Is it normal to get these pains in my stomach?

If I eat something right before bed, I'll sometimes wake up with severe pains in my stomach. It's the kind of pain that's like trapped gas. The thing is, it also hurts for half a hour (I don't know exactly how long). IIN? Should I see a doctor?

Also, I found that releasing flatulence eases the amount of pain I feel

Stop eating before you go to bed and take digestive enzymes. They help your body to properly digest food.

Don't eat just before you go to bed - easy! It's wind, same thing that makes babies cry, that's why they're held upright to burp it up. Digestion doesn't work as well if you're lying down
