Is it normal to get such excruciating migraines

I've been getting migraines since I was about 8 years old... I've been to neurologists and other doctors to get meds for them but every time I take the meds they prescribe me they never work so when I was 14 my doctor prescribed me some Vicodin and that helped for a little while... Since I didn't want to get addicted I stopped the Vicodin... Now the main thing that helps is to take two ultrams and chug down a monster import energy drink and also take 2 migraine pills that has 100 mg of caffeine in each pill... I'm also ADHD so I don't get all jittery from all the caffeine lol

Is it possible you're addicted to caffeine?
It can cause horrible head pain.

I tried topamax at the age of 13... Didn't work and override natural remedies none of those worked either... The other day it got so bad to the point where I was literally contemplating shooting myself in the head to get rid of the pain...

I had the same problem. Migraines so intense I temporarily lost my view, hallucinated, and sometimes I couldn't even speak properly. It was on Topamax, a drug used for epilepsy. It didn't solve the problem though. I tried traditional chinese medicine and homeopathic remedies and they worked better. In the end it was all some shitty hormonal problem that eventually solved itself.

The one that's Tylenol and codeine is the Tylenol 3... Vicodin is opiate Tylenol and codeine... I would know its addicting since my mother got addicted at about 38 pills a day... I'm taking Tylenol 3 but honestly it isn't doing anything at all

It's normal, but Vicodin is not addictive, its just Tylenol and codine

The tunnel vision is what I've been getting lately and so far this one has lasted 6 days .. I hope it ends soon... As for being addicted to caffeine.. No I'm not I only drink caffeine when I have migraines because caffeine helps my head feel better... As for caffeine in general? Well it makes me super sleepy and not at all hyper or jittery . It just kind of knocks me out cold (it's from the ADHD)
