I got stretch marks real bad on my ass when i was 16. I'm now 18 and they are gone. I think they were hormone related, because I hadn't gained any weight, infact I had lost some.

There isn't any fool proof method that isn't a laser. Preventing them with topical things is the way to go. Get some pregnancy lotion that kills them. I got the ones on my hips when I was 15 and grew a foot in 6 months. And I still have em ten years later.

Normal, especially when you've hit a growth spurt. It's not always about gaining weight, but often happens due to gaining height within a short period of time. I'm almost 21 and have had stretch marks since I was 16 and hit a growth spurt and went from being 5'6 to almost 5'9 within a year. They went from being redish/purple and noticeable and now they're faded and white/silvery and barely noticeable unless you're up close. Mederma is a great cream for helping fade them, and so is Bio Oil
    :)

All those moisturizers won't help, they are gimmicks. Talk to a doctor to see why you have them

I'm slightly younger than you and I've had stretch marks since I was a little kid. I didn't think much of them, I thought it was normal to have them on my bum. A relative saw them and said that it wasn't normal for someone of my age to have them. I ended up getting genetic testing and apparently they're caused by some kind of connectivity disorder.

I think it could also be a connection disorder with you. Especially, since allot of it seems to be around your joints. I suggest that you get genetic testing and then take the steps to help maintain it. I don't think moisturizers will help, though.

    Good Luck!
