Is it normal to get spots on my hands when i have a cold?

Is it normal that every time I come down with a case of the common cold, I get red blotches on my palms and spots on the back of my hands? They don't hurt, itch, or bother me in any way but look a little strange. There was a time they showed up on my kneecaps as well.

  • This happens to me whenever I am slightly under the weather too. They never spread further than the palms of my hands.

If you are fair-skinned, those blotches are probably blood vessels that are more visible as your skin becomes more pale.

It could be mild Vitiligo or mild malnutrition. Eat lots of fruit when cold and flu season are coming.

Why the hell do people on this site ask US about THEIR medical issues?

    Of all people

Sometimes moderation takes forever and if its something serious the person could die before their post gets moderated. Do people ever think about that?

Dude/young lady, please have that looked at. It could be bad.

The reason is that the person who created the website added a "Health" section. These would fall under that.
