Is it normal to get so many eye boogies?

I have to rub out my eye boogers about a dozen times a day. It's getting worse as I get older too. I constantly have to be washing my hands too so that I don't contract any germs from my fingers. It's like this all year long but does get slightly worse in the summer.

It's not like this is something that I'd bother a doctor for either, so that's why I'm asking y'all.

I don't think this is normal. You should ask a doctor.

Recently I went to the eye doctor and had this issue He told me its a bacterial infection or something and if you wear contacts it may cause an eye infection. He perscribed a foam that you have to wash your eye lids with every day.

Sounds normal to me, or at least I think it's normal because I experience the same thing. I think it must be allergies because I have pretty bad allergies year-round. I'm not sure what to do about it though.

Doesn't sound normal, but I've got something to help you out in the denotation department. Don't like the name "eye boogers?" Too many words right? Too long right? I've got a better word for you. Muta! Moo-tah! Enjoy.

Could be allergies. I just went to the allergist this week and discovered I was allergic to four things. I had no clue. I thought I just had seasonal allergies like a lot of people have.
You'd benefit from seeing a doctor.

I was once told that the eye and nose "ducts" were connected... I still think you should see a doctor.
