Is it normal to get so emotional about the aurora shooting?

I can't help but think about how excited and happy they were about going to see a movie and have fun with their friends and family and that happened. It's just so fucked up! They looked forward to going and having FUN, not dying or having their lives changed forever! And even if they didn't get hurt, it must have been so terrible. They didn't go there to die! And WHY? It's just so senseless. Seeing movies has always been a passion of mine, it's one of modern life's simple pleasures and I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WORRY! I wish they'd throw that animal to sharks or something, fry him, hang him! Why did it happen? How could he have justified killing innocent people for just wanting to have fun?

What upsets me is that someone could have so little value for human life and so little honor as to attack unarmed civilians and kill them like a can of raid on flies.

The concept that there are people that truly lack any sense of humanity is the scariest concept that is in existence, in my opinion.

Why does it matter if they were there to have fun? Murder is murder.

I can see why you'd be emotional, though. What happened was truly horrible, and completely unexpected, which just makes it have even more of an impact, I guess. And I don't think you should start worrying. Things like this aren't common. Also, you could die anywhere. A supermarket, a park, on a flight of stairs. If you started worrying about the possibility of death, then you'd be constantly worrying, it would never end. That probably sounds terrible, but I hope that's as reassuring to you as it is to me:).

Oh come on guys, Floydzie is obviously joking, don't be so easily offended. :P I thought it was funny, screw these oversensitive pricks.

Sometimes the easiest way to cope with tragedy or even a shitty situation is just to find a way to laugh at it.

The sad part is 12 lives were lost too soon. And not only that but he injured so many more, and changed the lives of the victims' loved ones. I hope he gets the death penalty.
