Is it normal to get sick of friends?

I love to talk to new people, and if they're interesting enough, I want to talk to them 24/7. I have done it a lot in the past.
But then after I get to know them completely and there is nothing left to discover, (let's say after a week or two of talking) I am just completely sick of them. I get annoyed when they try to talk to me. So I tend to ignore them and only talk to them maybe once a week.

I feel like a bitch but I just hate talking to people sometimes.

Is it normal that I get rid of my friends like this after becoming so close?

Learn from your mistakes and don't burn out any new relationships too quickly. New friends probably think that you are desperately lonely to want to talk to them so much in the early days.

They can think whatever they'd like. And if it gets in the way of being friends I don't see the need to keep them. If they don't accept me for who I am and how I act I see it as a waste of my time if they're just gonna judge me as such. I'm only human.

And you think, to quote you from above, "I'm such a nice person..."

        Are you the OP?

If not, I was just wondering why you hogged the topic to talk about yourself?

Well not really.. no one has ever held it against me.. I'm such a nice person that most of my friends just wait for me to want to hang out again and it's like we never took a break from hanging out.

i feel like that sometimes to I have 2 friends who I have known since like 4ever, I don't hangout with them very often, same as you maybe once a week, but then again they come to hangout with me 24/7 and they can't even give me a break sometimes there's been a couple of times during the summer we had like four sleepovers in a row, sometimetimes this happens with other friends to but them in particular are the ones it happens with...

(OP) I feel you. It's sort of like they feel the need to be around friends ALL the time, when people like you and I like space and like to be alone a lot.

On nights where I feel it's easier to just ignore them... (than to pick up and explain how I don't feel like hanging out because it seems less rude..) they blow up my phone for 3 hours until they finally realize maybe I'm busy or asleep. I don't like feeling obligated to hang out with people every day.
