Is it normal to get sick after being fingered (and bleeding a bit)?

Last night I got fingered and bled a little. It's not a first for me, so i didn't worry much about it until about a half hour later when I started feeling sick. I had an auful night, waking up with pains in my tummy and feeling like i was going to puke. I stayed home today because i still felt pukey and my face was all pale and shit. It COULD be unrelated, but based on the fact that it happened right after, I'm just wondering: Is it normal??

    it depends...

    how much blood was there? It sounds like you got scratched perhaps.

    However if he got you sick... it may have happened anyway regardless of being fingered. I mean.. you were kissing him first, no? I mean it's possible you just went straight into finger-penetration but if you were doing other foreplay first like kissing and making out... you could have gotten sick regardless of where he slid his fingers.

      Yes, we were kissing beforehand. so this could be. Amd based on how clean he smelled, I'd say he had showered recently before the incident, so his hands should have been at least fairly clean.
      There wasn't a mass amount of blood. A bit in my undies after and still a little when I wipe.

        sounds like a scratch then. that can happen from nails or if you're rubbing it a bit too much.

        more likely that you got sick from germs in the kissing rather than the fingering though

          hm, but while you can be a carrier without falling ill yourself, it's more likely to transmit a illness if your own body failed to fight it off before falling ill.
          Was the other person ill before or now?

          Like, ya, if he showered just before, it's less likely his hands are responsibly. If he took a shower at home, then picked up and threw a dead frog on the side of the street at some kids before reaching your hosue, different story *gg*

          anyway, it could be totally unrelated, but still go to the doctor if you don't feel better yet, you don't have to tell the whole story to begin with.

    no, it's not normal. you also dunno where he had his fingers. It's important to wash hands before this.

    There's a "mucous membrane" down there, technically self-cleaning and all that, but construction-wise not unlike your mouth area. Now, you wouldn't dig around in dirt and stuff your hand into your mouth afterwards...just because you don't have taste buds down there does not mean thats more "ok". There could have been all kinds of dirt, bacteria etc. on his hands/fingers ...if you don't feel better soon, do go to a doctor.
    They are bound to keep secrets and can't do stuff you don't want them to...so nothing to lose, but better have yourself checked out.

    Blood suggests he ripped you with a finger nail or something, which would allow any kinds of bacteria etc. direct access to the local blood stream.-
