Is it normal to get really pissed off by overly serious people?

I can't stand people who never laugh about anything. I mean, I understand that I, myself, might not be really funny at all even when I'm trying to be, but would it kill them to crack a smile? I mean, don't you hate those people that go, "Not Funny." or "Ha-Ha very funny." in a sarcastic way. It just seem's rude to me.

Or like those people who, when someone by accident passes gas or somethin, they're so quick to say, "Ew... that is so innapropriate!". I mean, come on! Get over yourself! Doesn't it make you wanna pull that stick out from there butt and smack them with it across there head? Seriously, it makes me so mad!

    does not necessarily mean they are serious, could mean they have a different sense of humor and yours is just too simple to them

    I hate smiling, it is awkward and uncomfortable. The saying "it takes more muscles to frown than to smile" is complete BS. I frown all day long and am no worse for wear.

    My father in law is kind of like that. We torture him by making jokes about hunting or fishing (his only interests) to purposely get him riled up because he can't just relax and laugh about stuff, he is so serious. In general it's almost like he is missing whatever it is that allows you to "get" jokes or to be able to tell when people are just messing around.

    Is hating them really going to solve the problem. You probably just don't understand their sense of humor. That, or you need stop hanging around grandma's friends.
