I have liked this guy for over a year now and just all of a sudden got over him like yesterdays news. I mean at first we just got to know each other and i didn't want to fall too fast too soon. Then i realized what i accually felt for him. I've cried so many times over him and cant seem to let him go. Then this guy at school told me he liked me and wanted to know if we could be more than friends. I told him that i wasn't so sure, but then we started talking and i completly forgot about the other guy!!!

    This has happened to me before. There was this one guy I was practically infatuated with for like two years straight, but he didnt really feel the same, at least not intensly like I did, so he kind of made it obvious. I cried and everything, but then one day I met this other guy, and I just didnt care anymore about what the other dude thought. It was like I was all of a sudden totally over him. I didnt care to talk to him anymore, or anything. It was completely put in the past. And I really thought I would love him forever.
    I think its quite normal though, because the new guy that came a long obviously had more/something better to offer that made you realize the other guy wasnt all that great. Thats why you got over him. You probably just needed that extra assurance that that guy wasnt right for you, so the new guy made it that much more clear.
