Is it normal to get nightmares when you fall asleep on your back?

So I've noticed lately I've been getting nightmares really bad but it's only when I fall asleep on my back. For some reason I can't sleep on my sides anymore so I have to sleep on my back. So IIN?

Interesting, I've never heard this before. Now I want to do research.

I was told that there was a study that concluded that you are more likely to get nightmares when you sleep on your back, so yes, I suppose it's normal

This is the second time I've heard this on IIN.....perhaps there is some truth to this theory

I've never heard of that before, I can tell you that I get very vivid and exhausting dreams when I sleep somewhere new. Have you changes location or something significant where you sleep maybe?
