So, i'll start from the beggining. 3 years ago i dated a girl, she gave me her cousins number and we started texting. The gf thing died an we don't talk anymore, but her cousin (we'll call her ashley) and i kept talking, growing very close to each other. Well, several weeks ago my friend (we'll call him joe) got Ashleys number off my phone an they started texting. She told me that she fell for him and he felt the same way. Joe asked her out and she rejected him, knowing that it wouldn't work due to the fact they lived 500 miles apart. I didn't care that much about all this until last night. When i was with my other friend (lets say ben) told me that Joe was now sexting Ashley and said i wasn't supossed to know. Thats what set me off. The fact they were keeping it secret from me. I don't care about the details, its just that i would like to know if somethings up with them. Im really pissed at Joe now, its pretty much like my best friend fucking my sister. I feel betrayed. Is it normal to get mad that they kept it secret from me? Like... I never want to see him again.

    I think you have a right to be angry wit "Joe" but at the same time you weren't in a relationship with "Ashley". So although he knew that you and Ashley were involved with each other, I suppose he didn't technically do anything wrong. However, as your friend he shouldn't have betrayed your trust like that and you are perfectly entitled to be angry with him. But, if I were you, I wouldn't let this ruin your friendship but its your one to call.
