I've been dating this girl now for a year and I really like everything about her but shes really not that into sex. It took me the past few months just for her to get into sex and shes really dull about it. She never expresses any real intrest in it and the only time it even gets brought up is by me. She never has any input or even thoughts toward it and I get pretty frustrated that I'm the only one even putting an effort forth, but then I feel like a total jerk for getting mad at her over sex. I don't want to be a dick but I feel like this is a pretty important part of this relationship. Is this normal? Am I overreacting?

        yeah that makes perfect sense because they've been dating for a year but sex seems to be the problem. Good call.

    You should try and be understanding, but if she doesn't want it you can't make her. There must be SOMETHING that turns her on, try and find out what and see if you can get her more into sex. If nothing works, you have two options: live with the issue or leave. Both options are equally respectable, and only you can make the choice.

    It takes two to tango so how dare you get mad! You've forced the issue obviously when she isn't ready, back off and leave her be!

    Leave. If you're that frustrated it's only going to get worse. Sex seems quite important to you so if you're not getting what you want you'll only go elsewhere for it and that won't do either of you any good.
