Is it normal to get high but not act different

Whenever I smoke I feel the effects of what im smoking like anybody else. My eyes get red like anyone else. However, I notice my friends act COMPLETELY different when they're high. They make stupid mistakes, and most of them start failing at simple thought processes. I however retain my ability to think straight and usually i'm able to think in a more complex way. I also do not hungry at all, as a matter of fact I usually lose my appetite. Is it normal that my mind doesn't become "Muddled"?

There are a LOT of weed stories on IIN lately...

Yes, weed affects many people differently. While it may not seem like it changes you very much I'll bet that your friends could tell you otherwise. It doesn't always hinder people though.

Time to give up then???? ie ZERO effect!

What usually happens when people take drugs for a long time and don't get the same 'high' feeling any longer, is they take stronger drugs, and then eventually shoot up all day, then eventually look real sick, then eventually die young.

This is a good omen for you. STOP.

Cannabis itself has never been linked to deaths, ie from over indulging. It would take an inhumane amount of cannabis smoke inhalation to kill someone. And though cannabis becomes mentally addictive, it's not physical and this person might have a low dependence (though not enough information about the cannabis smoker is in the article itself). And try to keep an open mind about cannabis. And your theory on the gateway drug, partially true. Cannabis users could want to try other drugs, but it is not directly linked to the transportation to higher drugs. Just sayin.
