Is it normal to get headaches after a bad nightmare?

Today I had a really bad nightmare. I told one of my friends a few truths about her peeves, and she got really mad and ran away. And a truck hit her, and killed her.
While I get nightmares almost daily, when I dream about people getting killed, I always get a headache when I wake up. Is it normal?

I don't have nightmare often (not ones I consider to be such, anyway), but when I do, it's usually -because- I have a headache, or I'm sick.

I'm guessing you're extremely stressed/upset in your dreams which can, in turn, lead to headaches/migraines. Makes sense. Normal.
