Is it normal to get hair threaded through your braces??

I was eating dinner and felt something tickling my tongue. I pulled out a strand of my hair that had wrapped around my braces wires. I don't eat or chew my hair so it is pretty amazing that it got into my mouth. This has happened to me before so is it normal for this to happen to people who wear braces?

    Lol i always get things wrapped around my braces like hair and whatnot, i even got the strings on a blanket wrapped around my braces once ahaha
