Is it normal to get extreme migraines?

Within a couple hours after I wake up I start to get headaches. They are so severe I can't concentrate and have trouble making good decisions/focusing. I have to drink either alcohol or rockstars and iced coffees throughout the day in order to keep from feeling dizzy. I usually take a walk, go in the ocean, or blast music, which also seems to help. I would normally go see a doctor, but I'm scared to take medication. Is there another way to fix this?

I had the same problem. Then my doctor checked my carboxyhemoglobin levels. I was slowly being poisoned with carbon monoxide.

Get yourself to a doctor and get medication. There are plenty out there like propanalol (not advised if you are diabetic) endep is another and plenty more. Don't put up with it. My partner suffers from chronic mirgraines used propanalol until diagnosed diabetic now using endep. Not all will work, it varies from person to person but one type will!

I also get horrid headaches that I can't explaine, I had one every day through the month of October, medications are very scary because you can (A) become addicted
    (B) be given the wrong kind of medicine
    (C) have worse side effects from the meds than the original problem.
However if you don't at least get yourself checked out then you very well could be hurting yourself more
