Is it normal to get enraged over every small thing?

I have really bad anger problems. I go to therapy but nothing is helping. I’m also on medication. I snap at very small things and blow up/explode on the people I love and now even strangers. I feel like once I get into that mindset it’s not me anymore, I feel like I just lose my control. Even on the very small stuff. Is this normal? I don’t know how to fix this

    Have you try meditation?

Do you sleep many hours at night?

Do you have vegetables (not fried) in your diet?

Do you have people around you that encourage you and don't judge you?

    Do you exercise?

Do you have something you love and that you get to do every day?

Do you have a sexual partner?

    These just a few things

OP, this is serious and I don't think the suggestions to look at kittens or write on your hand are going to be much help.

You need to talk to both your therapists HONESTLY about what's going on before your anger gets totally out of control and you harm yourself or someone else.

This must be very scarey for you and I congratulate you on reaching out for help, but professionals are the best people to help and if the ones you're seeing now can't help you need new therapists.

    Good luck!

Print off a picture of some kittens doing something cute and just stare at it if you start to feel angry.

Ask a psychologist. If you already have ask for a second opinion.
