Is it normal to get embarrassed while watching tv shows and movies?

I don't know why I get this way but if something embarrassing happens in a TV show I feel those feelings and I get so embarrassed that I have to pause and fast forward for the show that's why I don't go to movies in theaters anymore because I get so uncomfortable when I watch

    Meh, that feeling should go away when you get older. I'm 33 and I could be watching something childish like The Cuphead Show or something mature like Attack on Titan and I just don't care what anyone thinks. XD

      Well I'm 35 and still happens was not as bad for a few years but now back hardcore

    I feel that way for prank shows or stuff like Eric Andre (is it real? Not sure) where they fuck with unsuspecting strangers, I feel so bad for the people that I can’t watch. But I love cringe comedy / mockumentaries like the office if that’s what you mean. And Borat but maybe I had more tolerance for live cringe back then

    It's normal If you're watching something like "Jackass" and you're parents or grandparents see what you're watching.😳
