Is it normal to get dumber every day?

Seriously! I feel like I'm losing brain power at an alarming rate! It's gotten so bad that I reject the very concept of knowledge just to make myself feel better.

You must be the parent of a teenager! Nothing on earth makes you stupider faster than being the parent of a teen. One day your little girl or boy looks up to you as her/his protector, teacher and parent and the very next you aren't smart enough to know that whatever it is, is done by all the kids, so you should let her/him do it too, "What are you, stupid or something?". And a curfew! "I'm 14 and a half! I know more about everything than you'll ever know, Dad, What are you, stupid or something?"

Really, I think you do have some say in that. It just can't happen all by itself, you know.

Not unless, god forbid, I get raped and then for whatever reason, I don't get an abortion and/or I don't know that I am pregnant.

Well, blow me down. Once again I made an ass out of myself by assuming you were a guy, sorry. I really wish there was a little box that members could mark w/ their sex, so I don't make an ass out of you and me.

Don't worry. I've gotten used to it by now. :) I am assuming that it must have something to do with my writing style because, I have had other people to assume/wonder if I were a male or not.

It's always harder when it's not your kid, 'cause you can't just haul off and smack 'em.
Disrespect gets no respect from me.

I don't agree with actually smacking them, but fuck I feel like it sometimes, even though I never would hah.

But seriously though I know what you mean it's been a while since my mind was regularly challenged and it's starting to show

If you're not challenging your brain regularly then yes. It's like a muscle, if you don't use it it'll get lazy.

Get a sudoku puzzle book, and start reading. It will help.

    Have you recently left school?

I found after leaving education I wasn't being intellectually stimulated on a regular basis anymore, so my mental acuity felt like it was on the decline. I'm probably thicker now than I was a few years ago, but ho hum.

I noted that I felt like I was getting dumber from my 18th birthday, but that's mostly something I felt back then.
