Is it normal to get depressed and suicidal before you get your period?

Hi all, right before my period (about 1 or 2 days), I will always have serious thoughts about committing suicide. Is this normal?

    No, it isn't normal. You should go see someone about this. There may be some hormonal imbalance that can be addressed.

    Females go through 5 days of periods once a month , from the time they are 9 or 10 years old until they are 50 - 55 years old.
    It is a long stretch of 40 - 45 years of bitchyness and crabbyness.
    Then , menopause can last up to 7 years , after their periods stop in their 50's.
