Is it normal to get contacts just for halloween
I can not see well and I want to be a character that can see. I want to get contacts but only for the sake of a Halloween costume. Am I crazy for only wanting it for this reason?

Honestly it's almost like 80 percent of the people on this website live under a rock and are unaware of how humans interact and behave on a regular basis and because of that think extremely common behaviors are abnormal.
All snark aside, yes it's very normal. You're no different than the people who wear abnormal colored contacts for costume purposes even if they don't need contacts and will only wear them once. I am going to be Velma for Halloween and I wear glasses but not contacts. Luckily I have thick black glasses (they aren't as big as hers but they work) or else I would have bought contacts and then bought fake glasses that matched hers just to fit the part. Halloween and dressing up are fun, it's not weird. I've actually heard of people doing even more extreme things just to make their costume as accurate as possible...
they have tokyo ghoul contacts, im not a big fan of the show , but the contacts make the whites of your eyes black and the pupils red, very cool
normal btw
Be careful with contacts and those solutions! I've read about people getting injured from them.
You're not crazy. Get the contacts and do what you have to do to wear the most accurate costume.
Well you can get colored contacts (if that's what you mean) without a grade. They sell those. (Pretty expensive though) but if actually need contacts or glasses, you should get them. But if you want to get the colored contacts after you've decided you need them, you can get the colored contacts with the grade and it does two things for you. Only more money..
People have done weirder stuff for the sake of a good Halloween costume. Normal.
I got myself contacts for my birthday. I'd stopped wearing glasses long before and having a birthday reminded me I didn't want to spend another year not being able to see well. One of the best things I ever did.
Doesn't matter what the reason is/was, I hope you get as much out of contacts as I do.
