Is it normal to get chills when listening to a good song?

Every time I'm listening to a good song and they start hitting a lot of high notes, like 2 or 3 waves start going through my body starting at the chest area and then it just goes down. I was listening to this song by Lina Morgana called "Angel" and I got a lot of waves that time. People say they get chills but its not cold and I don't shiver or get tingles. Its like a smooth wave just runs down my body, and its usually like I said before, two or three.

    Yessss! Exactly! Me too.
I get the chills just by listening to Avril Lavigne, or Linkin Park, or specific Eminem songs.

I get that sometimes. Really intense moments in movies does that to me to sometimes; like emotionally intense in a good way.

I get that as well. And theirs something about violins that can get me going. I remember I was really in love with the song sometime around midnight by the airborne toxic event, and when the violin is playing its just... you forget about the words of the song, and just focus on the actual music itself.

By the way I just listened to that song that you mentioned. Its very pretty. I never heard of that singer before, but listening to that song, I was actually getting kinda an evanescence vibe from it. I'm not even into evanescence at all actually.(Don't ask. I really don't know why it reminded me of evanescence.) But that song still seems very pretty. I was actually just listening to Roy Orbison and K.D. Lang singing the song crying. The music video is so perfect for the song, and I got that feeling towards the end when they started going, "and from this moment on.. I'll be crying, crying, crying...". It just keeps going up and up and up, and then I get this weird feeling inside of me. Its so beautiful.

Totally normal. It can happen with any song depending on personal taste, especially if the lyrics resonate with you for some reason. Personally, I then listen to the song 10+ times a day and then the impact will wear off and I'll stop listening to it. Sometimes, I'll then listen months or years later and the song will either be even more spine-tinglingly awesome than before, or I'll still feel nothing.
