Is it normal to get chills when listening to a good song?

Every time I'm listening to a good song and they start hitting a lot of high notes, like 2 or 3 waves start going through my body starting at the chest area and then it just goes down. I was listening to this song by Lina Morgana called "Angel" and I got a lot of waves that time. People say they get chills but its not cold and I don't shiver or get tingles. Its like a smooth wave just runs down my body, and its usually like I said before, two or three.

  • Well, I get a rush of energy down my spine and all over my brain when I listen to certain music, like a sort of euphoric stimulation. Some people call that an eargasm. =P

    Yes.
I have also gotten goosebumps / gooseflesh to certain songs as well.
It is the melody, lyrics or both that have moved you to your core. Embrace it.

Yes. It's called shivering in pleasure. I've got this several times when listening to awesome music.

This happens to me whenever I hear a really beautiful song, or one I can relate to.

When a song really moves you, it's normal. I get so connected with certain songs and the emotions that transpire from the moment I turn it on until that last few notes are impossible to put into words. I get chills when I hear good music.. rarely.. but it still happens so I say it's normal. :)
